The Light of Nakovia Coming Soon!
In a world of magic, monsters and oncoming darkness, Eruest must stand for what is right when everyone around her seems to turn from the Light.
“That is up to you, Eruest,” she looks in my eyes again. “You can do nothing, and someone else will fall victim to his deceit, or you can stand for what is right and keep this from ever happening again.”
“I don’t have that kind of power, Mama. Why would anyone listen to my words over a king’s?”
“Eruest,” she reasons. “What have I told you time and time again? It’s always right…”
“To do the right thing.”
Having lost her father at an early age, Eruest is determined to honor his memory by serving in the Royal Army of Nakovia, to find out the truth behind his disappearance, and to provide for her mother and seven brothers. Ogres and mermaids wreak havoc on all sides of her homeland, but none are as terrifying as the miksri—dark, winged creatures that crave human flesh. Eruest’s friendship with Prince Adrian, whose nobility and honor is admired throughout the land, grows with every passing day, but the prying eyes of General Khol Barishson are a constant reminder of her lowly position. Eruest’s perseverance proves vital in her pursuit of The Light, a force that guides and protects, but it is her encounters with the manipulative King Narx that she experiences true fear and discovers true courage.
Encounter a tale of adventure, discovery, and the pursuit of truth. This story takes the concept of "stepping into the light" quite literally as Eruest encounters challenges that provoke her to faith in the mysterious Light. As she battles ogres, navigates corruption, and fences with feelings, Eruest must discover who she is and what she will believe in when her foundations falter. This new epic brings Biblical concepts of truth, love, sacrifice, and faith into a fantastical world of magic and monsters.
